i bought a new parking light lens and bulb because they were broken/blown. I put the new one in today and tested out the lights and they did not work. I checked out the other bulb on the other side and it was not blown. I sprayed WD-40 in the connectors and that did not do anything. I looked in all 3 places that there are fuses. (1992 toyota pickup 4x4 extra cab 3.0 v6) I could not find any fuses labled parking lights. I dont know what the problem is. any ideas?

I had something similar happen to me. Check the wires that go into the bulb's socket, if your lens didnt come with a new one. Mine was broke, looked like it corroded, right where the wire goes into the little rubber seal. I just dug the seal out with a knife, soldered the wire and gobbed some blue silicone back over it where the seal was. Worked like a charm.

Hey you could also look for a short somewhere within the circuit. If you have a short to ground on a parallel system you could have one light work and the other not work. If you have a DMM, check for volts to the socket and try to isolate the problem, if you get to a part of the circuit where you don't have volts at one part but you did at another check the wire in between that point and the last point where you had voltage. Most of the time the problem will be located within that strand of wire. Good luck!
