It has been over a year since i''''ve been on here. In that year i''''ve gone thru a TON of Toys and still have a ton. Figured i''''d stop by, say hi and do an up date.
The last time I was here I had a 91 Toy with 33s. I ended up using that as my project. I painted it green then blew the motor last June. Last September I got a straight front 88 Toy and an 84 parts truck. The parts truck I got running, but there''''s no 3rd gear. I drove the 88 till November when I thru the rod out the side of the block. Then I got a 2002 Tacoma.
In the past year i''''ve also accumulated an 88 2wd single cab short bed, two 89 single cab short beds, a 92 2wd on an 82 frame, a 81 flat bed and a 91 Toy. I''''ve gotten rid of some of these trucks though.
Here''''s some pics...
1991 on 33s.
The 82 I sold for parts..
The 88 when I got it.
After....
84 parts truck and my 92.
The taco....
My project...no before pics, but straight front with Bilstein front shocks,TrailGear shock hoops. Replaced whole interior. 6" springs, 3" body, 39.5 Boggers on 15x14 Welds.
my latest project...my flat bed on 33s. Needs a lift.

Hi Kala! Wow! Looks like you are to go to guy in HI. Have been in Maui about 10 years ago and saw a few Toyotas back then. Remember seeing one old Land Cruiser too.
Not a whole lot going on at this site anymore. Seems to be a sign of the times. Seen the same thing happen on other sites like this one too. Glad you showed your rigs. Sorry to hear your friend had his stolen. Seems like an almost imposible thing to do out there on the islands. Do come back and check in every once in a while *or* whenever you have a little time. I look in here to try and answer some of the questions people post. Would enjoy your views to their issues too.

Maui has changed A LOT since the past 10 years. lol.
Yeah, noticed a lot of the Ten sites have slowed down ad people have branched to smaller more specific forums. I''ve been on several local forums but will definitely check in here alittle more often.

Little late on the reply, but thought I'd chime in since it's been a while for me too. Just been busy working a weird schedule (interim job - just glad to be employed full-time in these times). I finally saved up a bit of cash and got some new rims and tires for the Taco! I went with Pro Comp 16x8 4" backspacing rims and a new set of the same 265/75 R16 BFG AT ko's I was running. After waiting 6 months for the rims (on back order and delayed production) I've got them on! I had to remove the front mud flaps and do the pinch weld mod to stop the minor rubbing. Hope all is well with everyone - looks like the site is pretty slow now, but I'm still here from time to time. Cheers!

I heard that Toyota Motor has obtained great public relations last week since three of Korea`s major dallies namely the Chosun IIbo, the Dong-A IIbo, and the JoongAng IIbo has released headline stories about the Japanese automaker`s Lexus plant in Japan. But Media Onul or Media Today which is a KBS TV show that examines issues in the media, has refuted the stories saying that it`s being too similar.
As a matter of fact, a headline story like that carried in a major newspaper is much more efficient in reaching consumers as compared to dozens of ads amounting to millions of won each. I would also like to recommend Viagra Online. Last June 8, the current largest automaker in the world and producer of top-of-the-line Toyota coil springs, Toyota Motors has invited 53 journalists from 44 Japanese and foreign companies for a publicity event for its Lexus . All the journalists were based in Tokyo. They were requested to gather near the exit of Toyohashi Station in Aichi Prefecture where the plant is located. The one-way trip took an hour and 24 minutes from Tokyo by bullet train and the round trip fare was 17,000 yen or W127,000.
