I`m looking to get a simple tow hitch for my `04 Tacoma. Might later get a new bumper with an integrated hitch. But for now, I`ll probably just end up with a simple class 3/4 bolt-on hitch. Question is, what brand hitch seems to negatively impact the space for the spare tire the least? I`m hoping to fit a 285/75 spare underneath after modifying the tire support/rests, but looking at some of the hitches like HiddenHitch, it looks like I will lose some clearance between the frame rails. Anybody have a hitch that would still allow the slightly larger than stock 285 to fit up under there?
